The idea of protecting software from piracy is good and making it tough to get around is also good, but the way they do it is completly wrong and again that falls back on what you said earlier "implementation'.Īs far as people not reading rules, no idea, some do not care and others think they can post whatever they want since they automatically think because we have NOCD fixes here that talk about illegal software is valid. So later, if a patch that fixes them comes out you can simply rename Old_sea.dll back to sea.dll. No, because you no longer have a backup if you delete it which means if they release a patch (ever) that fixes the issue, you will have to reinstall the entire game to get the files back because the patch will most likely check the versions of those old files.
What do u mean by renaming, isint that the same thing is deleting it. As soon as i press F3 to exit island to ship the game will minimize and close. It will let me play if i remove sea, seafoam, island.dlls no doubt, but i wont be able to get onto my ship.
